The SUV also burst into flames, but the 42-year-old man, who was pinned in his vehicle, was rescued by several bystanders, the television station reported.

While the SUV was totaled, the driver was not injured.

The incident took place Monday next to a golf course in Belle Meade, located southwest of Nashville.

"I just started sneezing -- my allergies were flaring, and I started sneezing," the man, who was not identified, told WKRN. "It felt like my front right tire went out, all of a sudden. It was slamming, and it was all a blur. And the next thing I know, I was spinning, and it was over on its side."

Some golfers and construction workers, seeing the crashed SUV, rushed over to offer assistance, the television station reported. After the father of two exited the SUV, it burst into flames.

"I was like. 'Wow.' I was relieved. My adrenaline was flowing," the man told WKRN. "Literally, I had a bruise on my arm and that was it. I was able to open the door and get out. I'm like, 'Are you kidding me? I just flipped this car, and I'm walking away with a bruise?' And it happened that the car flipped over in front of eight people right there."

The man said was "super thankful" to the men who came to his aid.

"I am so grateful," he told WKRN.
