A Thai hospital is adorning newborns with face shields as an adorable safety precaution during the coronavirus pandemic.

Photos of the maternity ward at Praram 9 Hospital shows nurses wearing surgical masks swaddling newborns who are wearing the visors.

The protective equipment is not meant to be worn at all times. They are intended for use when parents take the newborns home from the hospital, the BBC reported.

There are 2,473 confirmed cases and 33 deaths from the coronavirus in Thailand, according to Johns Hopkins' tracking information.
