1. Charlie Sheen's announcement: Actor Charlie Sheen is expected to announce Tuesday that he is HIV positive. Sheen, 50, is scheduled to appear on NBC's "Today" show for a live interview with Matt Lauer.
: Russian authorities said Tuesday that they now believe a homemade bomb exploded on a Russian passenger jet over Egypt, ripping the plane apart and killing everyone on board. Kremlin officials say they believe Islamic militants had something to do with the bombing and will intensify air strikes on ISIS targets in Syria.
3. More air strikes: France launched a third round of airstrikes against the Islamic State Monday. The strikes, in response to the terror attack last week in Paris, were targeted on Raqqa in Syria, and destroyed a command post and training camp, French authorities say.
UPDATE: More than half of U.S. governors say they oppose letting Syrian refugees into their states.All but one of the 24 states have Republican governors.

4. The list grows: A growing number of governors are saying they will not allow Syrian refugees to relocate in their states following the terror attacks in France. Some are claiming there is no way to know whom they would be allowing into their states, and if they are connected to a terror network. Immigration experts say governors don't have the authority to block refugees from relocating in their states.

5. Six dead in Texas: Law enforcement authorities say they have arrested a man after finding the bodies of six people in two sites in east Texas. William Hudson, 33, was arrested after a man and woman were found dead in a travel trailer near Palestine, Texas, police say. The bodies of four men were then discovered in a pond behind Hudson's home. The men were thought to have been at the Palestine campsite earlier in the weekend.

The annual Leonid meteor shower will be at its peak Tuesday and Wednesday. Best time to see the show will be between midnight and dawn. The best place to see it this year will likely be in the Southwest – there are clouds across much of the rest of the country for the next couple of days.
