A tour helicopter with seven people on board crashed Thursday on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, U.S. Coast Guard officials said.

The wreckage was found Friday afternoon, Hawaii News Now reported.

The Associated Press reported Friday that six bodies had been recovered. The search for the seventh body will resume Saturday morning.

The aircraft had one pilot and six passengers, and two of the passengers were minors, CNN reported. The helicopter has an electronic locator, but no signals have been received, Coast Guard officials said.

The helicopter was due to return from a tour about 5:21 p.m., and the Coast Guard was alerted at 6 p.m., Hawaii News Now reported.

Helicopter tours are common over Kauai, The New York Times reported.
