A public meeting at St. Louis City Hall devolved into chaos Wednesday night as members of the crowd began shouting and shoving each other, according to KSDK-TV.
CNN reported that council members were discussing a possible police-oversight board in the wake of the fatal police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in nearby Ferguson, Missouri. The melee broke out after Jeff Roorda, the local police union's business manager, appeared to get into a confrontation with a woman, Cachet Currie, according to KMOV-TV.
Currie said Roorda pushed her, but Roorda denied the claim.
