If you have shopping on your mind as the old year ends and a new one begins, you are in luck. Most retailers are open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, albeit with amended hours.

Below is a list of store hours for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day for select retailers.

New Year’s Eve store hours

  • Academy Sports + Outdoors – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Bed Bath & Beyond – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Best Buy – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • BJ's – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Costco – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • CVS – Regular store hours
  • Dick's – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Dillard's – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Hobby Lobby – 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Home Depot – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Ikea – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • JCPenney – store hours vary
  • Kohl's – most stores are open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (some to 10 p.m.)
  • Lowe's – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Macy's - Store hours vary by location
  • Nordstrom – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sam's Club – 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Target – 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Walgreens – Regular store hours
  • Walmart – Regular store hours for most locations
