If you bought a lottery ticket in Goodyear, Arizona, in June but forgot to check the winning numbers, you probably shouldn’t do it now.

According to CNN, a Circle K shopper was lucky enough to score a $14.6 million-winning ticket, but unlucky enough to let it expire, forfeiting the prize, Arizona Lottery officials said.

The owner of the ticket, which matched all six numbers in The Pick, had 180 days to claim the winnings at an Arizona Lottery office, NBC News reported. That time ran out at 5 p.m. Monday, officials said.

The jackpot now tops the list of the state's largest unclaimed lottery prizes, the news outlets reported.

The state will use the money "to enhance our players' experiences with future games and fund a variety of beneficiaries," such as programs to help Native American students and exploited children, Gregg Edgar, the lottery's executive director, said in a statement obtained by NBC News.
