A woman delivered her grandson Wednesday morning after her daughter went into labor while they were on the way to the hospital.

Kathy Trillingham was driving her daughter Brie Trillingham to the hospital around 6:30 a.m. when her daughter said she felt the baby's head. Her mother called Clinton County Central Dispatchers for help, RTV reported.

"I don't think I'm going to make it to the hospital,” Kathy Trillingham said on the call. “I think my daughter is going to have her baby in the car."

Dispatcher Curtis Herring told her to pull over and instructed her how to deliver the newborn -- her first grandson.

Brie Trillingham gave birth at 7:08 a.m. Two minutes later paramedics arrived.
