Ohio Included In Egg Salad Recall

Ohio is one 17 states that is included in an egg salad recall.

Ballard Farm Sausage is recalling prepackaged egg salad in 17 states because of fears of Listeria contamination.

Listeria is especially dangerous for very young children and the elderly and can cause illness and death.

The recall is for egg salad under the Ballard, Food City and Valutimes names. All of the recalled egg salad has a Nov. 7 expiration date.
