A candlelight vigil was held Thursday July 15 near Carillon Park by supporters of Stacey Doss, the California mother involved in a custody dispute with a Dayton birth father over 2-year-old Vanessa who Doss has raised since she was an infant. Vanessa's birth father, Benjamin Mills Jr. of Dayton, is fighting for custody in a case that has attracted national attention.
