Police: Baby’s Death Ruled Suspicious

Police in Richmond are investigating the death of a baby. Police are calling the child’s death suspicious.

They said the 6-month-old baby girl was taken to Reid Hospital on Tuesday afternoon and then flown to an Indianapolis hospital, where she later died.

Police said there were no visible signs of trauma, but the child was in a body cast from the waist down because of a broken femur she suffered three weeks ago.

At this time, the child’s identity has not been released.
