Police: Bullet holes found in Middletown restaurant’s front door

A Middletown business owner contacted police last week after she found bullet holes in the front glass doors of her restaurant.

Naiyozcsia Thomason told police Dec. 5 that she found bullet holes in the front glass door and that a couple of the bullets penetrated the second glass door of the business, Mz. Jade’s Soul Food, 3237 Yankee Road, according to the police report.

Thomason was able to check the security camera video and said two unknown males were seen walking to the front of her store at about 3:03 a.m. on Dec. 5, according to the report. She said one of the men pulled out a handgun and fired into the front glass door four times. The men then fled toward the back of the back of the building the same way that they came.

The incident remains under investigation.
