Remains Found Of Missing Dayton Woman?

Authorities said they are investigating the possibility that a body found in Kentucky Monday afternoon is that Angela Hild, who has been missing from Dayton since August.

Officials said a maintenance worker cutting grass near the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport found the skeletal remains at approximately 8:30 Monday morning. However, no positive identification has been made.

At the start of the investigation, Dayton police officials said they believed Hild's body was dumped somewhere in Kentucky. They said they had reason to believe Hild was kidnapped and later killed by her husband, Michael.

Michael Hild was killed a short time after his wife's disappearance, during an unrelated shootout with Florida police.

Since the body's discovery Monday morning, Dayton police said they have been in contact with Kentucky authorities. However, they said they will not speculate on whether or not the remains are that of Angela Hild.
