Are you one of the millions of Americans working from home due to the pandemic? While you may be saving money on commuting costs, other expenses could be weighing your wallet down. Even though you don’t have to go to the office, you could be saving more money living in another location!

A recent report from HireAHelper shows what it considers to be the most remote-friendly towns across the United States.

To come up with its rankings, the moving services company created an algorithm that takes into account each town’s amenities like internet accessibility, cost of living, and other factors.
Here are some key findings in the report, which ranks towns on a 100-point scale:
  • Gatlinburg, Tennessee is the #1 remote-friendly place in the United States.
  • Delaware has three cities in the top 10.
  • Cities in the Northeast make up four of the top 10 locations.
