Revamped Middletown Visitors Bureau makes first hire

The Middletown Visitors Bureau has hired a digital consultant to finish out its brand as well as launch its digital presence.

Ami Vitori, president of the Middletown Visitors Bureau board, said Annie Pryatel of Cincinnati was selected from a field of about 50 candidates.

She said Pryatel “brings great skills from well-known creative firms in the area, having other tourism-type clients as well as the hands-on approach of now running her own firm.”

Vitori said Pryatel will be meeting with the visitors bureau board on Wednesday Nov. 1 to begin her three-month contract with the nonprofit organization.

In addition, Vitori said the board is reviewing resumes for the executive director’s position and will be interviewing in the coming weeks for that position.

For the past several months, the visitors bureau board has been working to reorganize itself.
