Several dead in Jacksonville shooting: Here’s what we know about the location

A ‘mass shooting’ has been reported at the Madden 19 Tournament at the GLHF Game Bar in Jacksonville, Florida, according to national media sources.

Jacksonville’s Sheriff’s Department urged people to stay away from Jacksonville Landing following the shooting.

This was the second shooting in Jacksonville this weekend. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office estimated that 4,000 people attended the Raines High football season opener Friday night. Around 3,000 fans had left by the time a triple shooting occurred that left one dead at the game, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said the shooting occurred up around 10 p.m. Officers at the scene found three victims with gunshot wounds. One victim, a young adult male, died at the scene. Rescue transported two others to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
