Sod farm damaged in semi-trailer crash

A semi-trailer driver could be cited after his vehicle ran off the road and into a sod farm field.

After 1 p.m. today, a semi-trailer driver ran off the road, through a fence and into the Green Velvet sod farm. The man was not injured, but he did bring down a billboard in the impact.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating. A charge of failure to control is pending.

The driver said he may have blown out his front tire, but OSHP is investigating the crash.
