The move would result in $2.3 million in annual payroll for the city, but Miamisburg would offer a 40 percent, five-year income tax credit if legislation going before the city council Tuesday night is approved.

It has been renting space since 2010 and has seven sales employees at a Success Lane site in Washington Twp., but wants to add 18 positions, records show.
“I think there’s a lot of potential there with Wauseon,” Miamisburg Development Director Chris Fine said. “I think they have plans to do some other things and do some increased manufacturing and assembly as they move forward.

Wauseon plans to invest $760,000 as part of the move to Miamisburg, city records show. Cornerstone Wauseon bought the property on Technical Drive from Glass-Ingersoll for $685,000 March 1, according to the Montgomery County Auditor’s Office website.
The land has an 11,500 square foot building, Fine said. Should council approve the legislation it would save Wauseon about $80,000 over the five years and the city would make about $120,000 in income taxes during that time, he said.
