Wright Stop Plaza hub will partially close this weekend

Repairs to the Wright Stop Plaza bus hub in downtown Dayton will mean a temporary change in boarding locations for Dayton Regional Transportation Authority customers this weekend.

The bus stop platform will close for Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Service via Wright Stop Plaza will not be interrupted, though, as buses will pick up passengers on East Third Street between Jefferson and Main Streets.

All eastbound and northbound routes will pick up on the south side of Third Street. All south and westbound routes will pick up passengers on the north side of East Third Street, or the PNC Bank side.

RTA said it will have several additional transit ambassadors on hand to assist passengers. All scheduled routes and times will remain the same.

While the platform will be closed, the concourse inside Wright Stop plaza will remain open to the public.
