The official dedication ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday in the new high school gym.
Officials said the school was funded by 70 percent of state funds and 30 percent of taxpayer’s money. $1.8 million was provided by private donations to build a new performing arts center at the school.
School officials said the elementary school in North Star will be turned over to the village of North Star. They said the current Versailles Elementary will be torn down, while the current middle school will be handed back over to a local catholic church, which owns the building.
A portion of the current high school will be torn down, while the other part will be saved.
On Saturday, a public auction will be held at Versailles Elementary at 9:30 a.m.
