5 Shot After Bar Fight In Middletown

Police in Middletown have released the names of those who were shot overnight after a fight at a Middletown bar exploded into a shootout at a nearby apartment complex.

Police said five people were shot around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Weaver Avenue near Main Street.

Interim police chief Major Mark Hoffman says the victims are not cooperating.

Hoffman said a handgun and an assault rifle were used in the shootings at about 3:30 a.m. He said the fight began at the Grand Illusions bar and was renewed later the housing complex.

Police said three guns, including an AK-47, were fired at the complex, hitting five people and several apartments. Residents said they heard at least a dozen shot following a fight.

DeMarco Conley suffered the most serious injury with a gunshot to the chest. Gerrell Wright was shot in the leg, while Jeremy McGuire was shot in the hand.

Police said Dante Robinson was shot in the right foot, while Lori Glover was shot in the leg. Officers said she was later arrested and taken to jail on an unrelated drug charge.

Investigators said they do have some suspects, but no arrests have been made.
