The city of Monroe has unveiled a nearly $10 million plan to redevelop Monroe Bicentennial Commons, formerly known as Americana/LeSourdsville Lake amusement park.

Remnants of the park can still be recognized, and some work is already being done near the site, as Butler Tech is building a $3 million adult education campus on 36 acres.
