DETAILED FORECAST
Friday: Elwell said he does not anticipate a repeat of Thursday morning's troubled, icy commute.
“However, slick spots will be possible through the night and into the morning. Just not as widespread as this morning,” Elwell said.
Expect some sunshine early with scattered clouds in the afternoon. It will remain chilly and blustery with highs in the upper 30s.

Saturday: Sunshine will start the weekend with temperatures closer to average. Highs will rebound into the lower 40s.
Sunday: Clouds will return but it should remain dry. Gusty winds will develop through the day out of the east, perhaps as high as 30 mph late in the day. Highs will be in the lower 40s.
Monday: Partly cloudy skies will start the workweek with blustery conditions. Highs will hold to around 40 degrees.

Tuesday: Sunshine returns but it will be chilly with highs in the upper 30s.
