What’s next for a Middletown man accused of threatening the Liberty Center movie theater

A preliminary hearing has been set for a Middletown man accused of making a terroristic threat at a Liberty Twp. movie theater.

Justin R. Pickron, 21, appeared in a video arraignment Tuesday in Butler County Area II Court and was released from the Butler County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond. As part of his release conditions, Pickron is not to have contact with the victim or the Cobb Theater at Liberty Center.

The court set his preliminary hearing for 1 p.m. May 15.

Pickron is accused of making comments on April 25 to co-workers at the Cobb Theater about bringing a gun to work and shooting people inside the theater. Butler County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pickron early Tuesday morning in Middletown.
