Twin sisters who celebrated their 103rd birthday in November recently died just weeks apart, ABC News reports.
Florence Davies and Glenys Thomas, born Nov. 22, 1911, lived at a care home in the United Kingdom. Thomas died April 23 and Davies died May 20.
"It was a huge privilege for all of us at Abermill to care for two such wonderful ladies," said Christine Tipper, deputy manager of Abermill Care Home. "They both made such a positive impact on the life at the home and will be hugely missed by all of us here and by their family and friends."
The pair spent time together in the care home's lounge and in their rooms, which were near each other.
"They even built an interior door joining their two kitchens to make it even easier for them to see each other," an Abermill spokesman told ABC.
