Zoning change would allowed for Kroger parking lot

A zoning change for land Moraine has annexed involving the Kroger on Alex-Bell Road is set to be addressed tonight.

The Moraine City Council is considering an ordinance to place 6.53 acres at 2917 Alex-Bell into a general business district.

Moraine officials have said they annexed land from Miami Twp. because they expect it to be the future site of a parking lot when Kroger builds a new site just north of the 57,000 square foot existing structure.
