Born, raised, and educated in Pittsburgh, PA, Shirley moved to Dayton with her husband Jack and raised five children Larry Snyder, Cathy Mitsoff, Andrew Snyder, Richard Snyder (Meiko Sato), and Jane Patrick (Jesse).
