YONO, Vicki

78, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away January 27, 2021. She was born on April 8, 1942, the only child of John & Phyllis (Hall) Yono. She was a lifelong resident of New Carlisle and graduated from Tecumseh High School. In 1964, she graduated from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and

began her teaching career in New Carlisle. Due to health

issues her career was cut short and she retired from teaching. Vicki spent many years singing in the school choir and choral groups and also the church in the Ladies Trio. She often played piano and organ. She had a beautiful gift of music and used it to the glory of God. Vicki was a member of the Missionary Church and later the Church of the Nazarene, New Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by many cousins and friends. In recent years she has been cared for by the

devoted staff of Vancrest Nursing Home in New Carlisle and family. Vicki is now at peace in the presence of God and those who have gone before her. Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday, February 1, 2021, at the New Carlisle Cemetery with Pastor David Perry officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 477 N.
