ZDESAR, Ernest Stanley

Age 95, of Springboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Ernest was born on January 21, 1926, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Ignatius and Theresa Zdesar. He attended East Tech High School before enlisting in the Marine Corps and serving in WWII. Following the war he returned to the Cleveland area where he began working for the Eaton Corporation, in the manufacturing services division. He retired after over 30 years of service, and moved to the Dayton area so he could spend more time with his beloved grandchildren. Throughout his life Ernest was known for his technical prowess in the machining and manufacturing field. He could fix just about anything, whether it is was an air conditioner or a piece of heavy equipment. His true passion in life was gardening, and he could be found tending to his yard nearly every day (even once

winning a beautification award from the city of Springboro). Most of all Ernest was a family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia; son, Ernest Zdesar; and five siblings. Ernest is survived by his son, George (Mary) Zdesar; grandchildren, Steven Zdesar, Katie (Jeremy) Gray. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
