I recently explored their menu at the Oakwood location. I tried a chai latte, vanilla-cinnamon latte and an affogato.

I must admit, I’m a self-proclaimed chai latte connoisseur, so I had high hopes for this latte. It had the right amount of foam, which led me to believe we were off to a good start. The flavor was spicy (but not too spicy) blended with a decadent creaminess.
The verdict: I'll be back for this again. Literally perfect!

The next latte was a regular espresso base, flavored with vanilla and cinnamon (by recommendation of the barista). This was even topped with heart latte art. The art doesn’t seem like a big deal, but to me, it spoke to the care and craft that goes into the cup.
The verdict: I'm not one for cinnamon-flavored coffee but I would order this again, too, probably in the fall.

The final beverage was the affogato. Never heard of it? Well, before stopping into Tastefully Roasted, neither had I. An affogato is basically two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream with espresso poured over it. Just the description was enough to prompt me to order.
The verdict: Why bother with coffee-flavored ice cream when you can have THIS? The creamy ice cream perfectly balanced the rich espresso delivering what I can only describe as a coffee lover's summer dream. A big factor in its tastiness is the quality of the espresso. You couldn't do this with just any brew or bean.
