There’s a new snack shop coming to the old Teavana space at The Greene

A new snack shop that is no stranger to the Dayton area is coming to The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, perhaps as early as this summer, a spokeswoman for The Greene said this afternoon.

Auntie Anne’s, an international pretzel-shop chain that operates a location in the Dayton Mall, has signed a lease and will move into the former Teavana space at 4450 Glengarry Drive on the development’s town square, the spokeswoman said.

The Dayton Mall Auntie Anne’s location opened in 2005, and plans to remain open, a manager of the store said.

Starbucks, which owns and operates the Teavana brand, is in the process of closing all 379 locations across the U.S., and shut down its store at The Greene about six weeks ago.

Auntie Anne’s was founded in Pennsylvania in 1988 and now operates more than 1,700 locations in 48 states and more than 25 countries.
