Here’s how Yelp describes the methodology behind the rankings: “This is an all-time list of the best bakeries in the U.S. according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the bakeries category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. We included only two businesses per state for geographic diversity.”

This is just the latest recognition the business has received. Last fall, it was named “Best Coffee Shop in Ohio” by USA Today.

The bakery opened in 2008 on Ohio 741 in Miami Twp. and operated there until 2014. It moved that year to its current location at 175 E. Alex Bell Road, across from Doubleday’s Grill and Tavern.
