Restaurant famous for its award-winning wings, patio and burgers reopens

The wait is over to get some of the Dayton area’s best wings in your belly.

Nick's Restaurant, 1443 N. Detroit St. in Xenia, reopened Wednesday, July 11.

The sports bar known for is wings, burgers and patio had been closed since July 1 for kitchen renovations, according to posts on its Facebook page.

Established by Nick Malavazos in 1949, Nick’s is a repeat winner of the People’s Choice Best Wings contest at the Kickin’ Chicken Wing Festival.
