As dining is increasingly changing across the country due to the coronavirus, COVID-19, more and more restaurants are looking to find ways to attract customers to consider carry-out orders.
The Cheesecake Factory announced it will be throwing in a free slice of cheesecake with any purchase of $30 or more using the promo code FREESLICE when ordering online. The code is good for takeout through April 16 when picking up orders.
On the Cheesecake Factory social media pages the company posted: “Your well-being and safety is our number one priority and we strive to keep serving the community during this uncertain time. We are following all local ordinances regarding our restaurant hours, occupancy limits and dining restrictions. As many neighborhoods transition to not allowing dine-in service, we remain open for takeout as well as delivery through DoorDash. Even when we’re apart, we can get through this together.”
More and more companies are starting to announce promotions they are marketing to customers.
Burger King has announced starting next week it will be offering customers two free kids meals with any purchase made using the Burger King app.
Analysts are expecting more dining promotions like this to be announced as coronavirus continues to affect commerce and restaurants.
