The chain with locations at 2330 N. Fairfield in Beavercreek and 5 E. Franklin in Centerville is promoting its new Double-Smoked Brisket TaQos just in time for Cinco De Mayo on May 5.
Dayton.com tried these sweet and ultra-smoky treats recently.
They are made of brisket that's been smoked for 18 hours, mixed with a sweet BBQ sauce and served with a smoked corn, tomato and chimichurri salsa on a grilled tortilla.
The soft tortilla proved a great way to eat BBQ and sucked in the juices nicely.
The ultra fresh-tasting corn salsa is perhaps the best part of the dish. We could have eaten it by the spoonfuls.
TaQos are $9 for three and come with a lime wedge, pickled onions and charred jalapenos that set your world on fire (in a good way).
