You have plenty of options, but you'll want to make your reservation ASAP -- these spots fill up fast.

WHAT: The Golden Jersey Inn

The Golden Jersey Inn has some of the best homemade food in the area. For breakfast, they're serving eggs, breakfast meats, biscuits and gravy, doughnuts and bagels and the famous hash brown casserole. After 11 a.m., menu includes chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, buttermilk chicken, hand carved roasted sirloin and a salad bar. Sides include mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and fresh fruit for breakfast and for brunch. Buffet only on Mother's Day.

The Hilton Garden Inn will be serving up made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit and salad presentations, spring vegetable selections, chef's assortment of side dishes, carved roasted leg of lamb, slow-roasted prime rib of beef au jus, oven roasted herbed chicken, baked salmon, seafood station, spring dessert display, champagne mimosas, and a kid-friendly knee high buffet. After filling up their bellies, the little ones can head over to the craft station to make mom a card.

If you're looking for a hearty homecooked breakfast, The Caroline has you covered. They'll have breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs and home fries, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, french toast and waffles. Not in the mood for breakfast? They'll also have baked tilapia with a lemon butter sauce over rice pilaf, grilled chicken with a mushroom sauce, prime rib or roasted turkey and a chef's pasta with side items such as green beans and mashed potatoes and more.

The Hawthorn Grill will have for breakfast: scrambled eggs, loaded hash browns, french toast, and sausage. Lunch will include pan roasted shrimp, grilled chicken, and gluten-free peanut butter bites for a little something sweet at the end.

Basil's is filling up fast, so make your reservation immediately. Brunch will include an omelet station, prime rib, eggs benedict, chicken florentine, Coca-cola roasted pork loin, garden cod in a light scampi sauce, desserts and much more.

Not in the mood for breakfast? Michael Anthony's is also serving chicken marsala, fried George's Bank cod with house tartar sauce and roasted turkey with house gravy, or four cheese ravioli with house tomato basil sauce,gGrilled house-made Italian sausages with sautéed peppers and onions, garlic and horseradish mashed potatoes, and sautéed green beans almondine. There is also a carving station with prime rib of beef au jus, apricot and cherry glazed smoked ham, rosemary and garlic roasted leg of lamb. Mother's Day in America - Mimi's will celebrate Mom and those special to her by pampering her like they do in France, with a three-course menu, free pastry, gifts and a relaxing time with loved ones. Moms will receive a French Herb Heart-Shaped Palmier (French pastry) in every bread basket, a take-home muffin square to enjoy later and a Mimi's French herb seed packet with the French Herb Palmier recipe on the back. And the celebration isn't over yet. To celebrate Mom again, Mimi's will invite guests back to celebrate through May 29, Mother's Day in France, with a free entrée.

Mimi’s guests will start with choice of cup of soup (French Onion, Corn Chowder or Tomato Basil), House salad or Caesar salad before moving onto the main entrée, which includes a choice of:

  • Quiche Florentine with fresh spinach, tomatoes, aged Parmesan and Swiss, with mixed fruit

  • Chicken Tillamook Cheddar Mac with pulled chicken in a rich Tillamook Creamery cheddar sauce with crumbled bacon, penne pasta and Parmesan crust
  • Chicken Chop Salad with a slow-roasted chicken breast, red & green bell peppers, mandarin oranges, basil, cilantro, chopped cabbage and romaine lettuce tossed in sesame dressing with fried wontons and sesame seeds
  • Grilled Atlantic Salmon with a light Chardonnay Dijon sauce, sautéed garlic spinach and roasted potatoes (add $1)

Dessert course includes Chocolate Chip Croissant Bread Pudding with all-butter and almond croissants with chocolate chips, salted caramel and whipped cream. Or, for $1 more, guests can enjoy Strawberry Shortcake Crêpe Cake or Key Lime Slab Pie.Mimi’s will offer its signature “Mimi-Mosa” with fresh-squeezed orange juice with a Tangerine burst and Korbel California Champagne, along with three other Mimosa flavor choices, including Triple Berry, Mango and White Peach for $5 per glass.  Glasses of wine, red or white from France, are $5 and bottles are $20.Guests are encouraged to make reservations and call their neighborhood Mimi’s for additional details.
