Braxton Miller to throw out first pitch for Cincinnati Reds

Braxton Miller will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Cincinnati Reds play the Colorado Rockies at 7:10 p.m. Monday at Great American Ball Park.

Miller, the former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback and hybrid back and Wayne High School graduate, is expected to be drafted in the second or third round of the NFL draft, according to one NFL.com analyst. The draft takes place April 28-30 in Chicago.

Miller grew up in Springfield. He also attendeded a Reds game with the Buckeyes in 2015 when they were honored for winning the national championship.

Former Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee, who’s expected to be a first-round draft pick, will throw out the first pitch before the 12:35 p.m. game against the Rockies on Wednesday.
