The Browns are signing guard Joel Bitonio to a contract extension, according to multiple reports.

Bitonio, 25, played in only five games for the Browns in 2016 because of a foot injury. The 2017 season would have been the final year of his four-year rookie deal with the Browns. Bitonio was a second-round pick in 2014.

The Browns also are reportedly signing center J.C. Tretter, who spent the last four seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
