As part of the festivities Aug. 25-27, they will wear jerseys with nicknames on the back instead of their real names.
Here are a few via Reds.com:
- Joey Votto: "TOKKI 2"
- Zack Cozart: "COACH"
- Billy Hamilton: "BONE"
- Homer Bailey: "HOMER"
- Adam Duvall: "DUVY"
- Raisel Iglesias: "EL CICLÓN"
- Scooter Gennett: "RYAN"
- Jesse Winker: "WINK"
- Luis Castillo: "LA PIEDRA"
- Patrick Kivlehan: "BELIEVE"
Note Homer Bailey and Scooter Gennett are taking opposite approaches here as Gennett went with his real name while Bailey – ever the stubborn Texan, eh? – is just sticking with his nickname.
