Cincinnati Bengals extend contract of former first-round pick

The Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday exercised their option on cornerback William Jackson, signing the former first-round pick through the 2020 season.

Jackson, a first-round pick by the Bengals in 2016, has played in 31 games, including 21 starts. Last season, he started all 16 games. He totaled 41 tackles and had team-leading 13 passes defensed.
