Maybe Ezekiel Elliott can save the NFL (No Fun League) from itself all by himself.

The Dallas Cowboys rookie and former Ohio State star again made ripples through social media Sunday night when he jumped into a giant replica of a Salvation Army bag after scoring a touchdown.

Of course after getting a good chuckle, many immediately wondered what kind of fine the running back would face from the NFL.

His father tweeted that he would cover it, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones promised to match it with a donation to the Salvation Army.

So, naturally, the NFL decided not to fine Elliott, who was assessed a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that seemed to rankle his coach at the time.

Elliott continues to lead the league in rushing with two games to go, and he said he will still make a donation to the charity.
