“Charles is taking advantage of the rules with the new legislation,” Miller said Friday. “It’s giving him an opportunity to get a ton of feedback from the advisory committee on where he would be projected.”
Miller said Cooke’s decision to put his name in consideration for the draft was about development and if he doesn’t get a guarantee of being drafted, he’ll return to the Flyers. The chance to work out for a NBA was a big reason he wanted to go through the process.
“When he gets that information back from the Celtics on where he’s at, we’ll have more conversations,” Miller said. “He’s taking advantage to improve himself.”
