The Chargers confirmed Thursday what had already been expected: They are leaving San Diego to give Los Angeles a second NFL team.

To start their new era (actually their second in LA*), they unveiled a new logo.

It was not too well received on Twitter.

Perhaps with Joey Bosa to build a defense around, better days will still be ahead no matter what they’re wearing.

*Fun fact: Last time the Chargers called Los Angeles home (1960 as members of the AFL), their head coach was former Ohio State player Sid Gillman, who had stints as head coach at the University of Cincinnati and Miami University.
