The following is a brief high school football preseason preview.

High school: Tecumseh Arrows

Division / region: D-II, Region 6

League / conference: Central Buckeye Conference, Kenton Trail Division

Head coach: Kent Massie, 10th season with Arrows; 63-36 career record, six playoff appearances in the past eight seasons and three CBC Kenton Trail Division titles. Coach Massie has the highest winning percentage and more playoff appearances than any coach in Tecumseh football history.

Assistant coaches: Tuffy Thompson, Chris Cory, Chad Hale, Zach Hyden, Doug Wigton, Kolby Watson, Brian Ringholtz, Keenan Freeman, Kyle Lusk, John Jewell.

2013 record: 2-3 CBC; 4-6 overall.

2013 highlights / notable achievements: Arrows couldn't recover from three straight early losses in Weeks 2-4 to playoff teams Butler, Northwest and Urbana. Pushed Shawnee but fell 27-20 in Week 7. Finished with a 21-14 upset of Kenton Ridge, another playoff team. In all, played six teams that advanced to the postseason. No schedule change other than rotation dates of CBC opponents.
