5. Chaminade Julienne (1-1): Eagles had a good win over visiting Greeneview and couldn’t match up with Dunbar.

1. Miami East (2-0): The Vikings overtake Greeneview in the top spot after impressive defeats of Tri-County North and Springfield Northwestern.
2. Greeneview (0-1): The Rams opened with a schedule upgrade and 43-39 setback at CJ.
3. Preble Shawnee (1-0): Jake Adams erupted for 28 points in a defeat of Eaton.
4. Waynesville (1-1): Luke Credit went for 20 points in the opening loss to Franklin, and the Spartans defeated East Clinton to even their record.
5. Carlisle (1-1): The Indians knocked Dixie out of the top five, 70-62, but fell by two to Middletown Christian.
Division IV
1. Jefferson (2-0): The Broncos overtake the top spot after getting defensive with Madison and Landmark, allowing just 54 total points; host Thurgood Marshall in what should be a thriller on Saturday night.
2. Minster (0-0): Wildcats’ season was delayed by a deep football playoff run; will finally open at Russia on Saturday night.
3. Fort Loramie (0-0): Redskins will open by playing twice on the road this weekend, at Anna today and at St. Henry on Saturday.
4. Botkins (3-0): The Trojans captured the Ben Logan Tip-Off tourney, sweeping Mechanicsburg and Riverside.
5. Russia (1-0): Treg Francis scored 21 points and Brandon Wilson 19 as the Raiders opened with an impressive defeat of Houston.
