‘Bail’ help sought for Gems mascot

DAYTON — Blade, the mascot of the Dayton Gems hockey team, will be participating in the MDA Lock Up fundraiser this Wednesday at the Fricker’s restaurant in Vandalia.

The fundraiser goal, or “bail”, set by MDA is $2,400. Proceeds help send Miami Valley children to the MDA summer camp in 2012, as well as providing services for those afflicted with the disease.
