Gems extend dominance over Generals

FLINT, Mich. — The Dayton Gems continued their mastery of the Flint Generals with a 4-1 International Hockey League road victory. The Gems have won all five games against the Generals in their inaugural season.

John Snowden scored on a power play less than seven minutes into the game and it was all Gems from there. They had a 3-1 lead after one period as Joe VanCulin made it 2-0 and Sam Bloom scored on a penalty shot.
