The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced Adreian Payne will be sidelined indefinitely by a blood disorder.

A Jefferson High School graduate who went to Michigan State, Payne is being treated for thrombocytopenia, or low platelet count.

Payne was the Ohio Division IV Player of the Year in 2010 and a five-star center prospect who led the Broncos to a state championship.

The 25-year-old has played 12 games this season for the T-Wolves after logging 52 last year.
