The Ohio State Buckeyes received their latest commitment from the class of 2024 on Thursday from four-star cornerback Miles Lockhart.

Lockhart will be a senior at Basha High School in Chandler, Ariz. He took an official visit to Ohio State the weekend of June 23 and shared a photo on Twitter of himself holding a Heisman Trophy with his foot resting on an Ohio State helmet during his visit.

Rivals.com ranks Lockhart 243rd in the class of 2024 and 29th at his position, while the 247Sports.com composite rankings have him at No. 365 overall and No. 33 at cornerback.

Lockhart received an offer from Ohio State in June 2022. He also had offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon and Wisconsin among others.

Lockhart is the 18th player from the 2024 class to commit to Ohio State. Earlier this week, Ohio State received a commitment from five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott.
