The Bengals announced Monday the addition of a familiar face on the defensive line.

Wallace Gilberry is set to rejoin the team as it comes back from its bye week.

A ninth-year end, Gilberry had 17.5 sacks in four seasons with the Bengals before signing with Detroit as a free agent last offseason.

He played four games for the Lions before being released with an injury (abdomen) settlement.
